The Opportunity

As a Tax Financial Markets & Real Estate (FMRE) Intern you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to the intricacies of finance consulting. You will support our teams in delivering exceptional client service, focusing on financial markets and real estate. As an Intern, you will immerse yourself in PwC's practices, contributing to projects while observing and learning from experienced professionals. This role emphasizes developing your skills in financial analysis, accounting policies, and financial risk management.

Responsibilities

- Supporting teams in financial markets and real estate projects by conducting research and analysis
- Participating in the preparation and analysis of financial statements to provide insights into business performance
- Assisting in the development of financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and market trends
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for clients
- Complying with accounting standards and regulations to maintain accurate and legally compliant financial reporting
- Engaging in economic forecasting to predict market movements and inform strategic decision-making
- Collaborating with team members to optimize portfolio strategies and enhance financial outcomes
- Applying financial risk management techniques to protect economic value and mitigate exposure to various risks

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following field(s) of study: Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Quantitative Finance, or Real Estate
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
